PLUTO DIRECT. AND WE ARE STALKING OUR FUTURE SELVES (AGAIN).

October 2025, Pluto stations direct at 1°25 Aquarius ______________________________________________

this is an extravagantly rich time of psychic renewal. And I can’t say it often enough. If you want to embody your higher self, dreamwork is the Cadillac of accelerators.

It's quantum leap technology.

think of it:  every night, your soul leaves your body alone to make up alternate realities.

every night, our subconscious tells us the secrets we keep from ourselves. and yet, most of us go through life ignoring this treasure chest.

while Pluto went direct in Aquarius, on Sunday night, I had the nightmare of a lifetime — and the re-imagination of a lifetime. At dawn, I raised a feral serial killer girl into a warm companion. She now lives as a flame in my heart.

Dreamwork is a venture into the dark arts — a shamanic descent into the Vault of “Crazy.”

Upon waking, the white magic begins:  Jung’s active re-imagination technique.

Put the pen on your nightstand.  

In Pluto-nightmare, I fought for my life. The serial-killer girl relentlessly attacked me. Go figure, Pluto is both psychologist, and criminal. Pluto is a serial killer – he murders realities so we can start our life all over again.

You are the dreamer. When you dream, you are all the people, you are the killer, you are the chased, the saved... Your soul produces the dream, writes the plot, creates the characters…

First I had to accept that the feral, murderous creature –– the skinny girl who tried to strangle me until I put her in a bow pose grip while we hung from a bus door –– was an aspect of me.

A dark and frankly terrifying shadow, I had to integrate her. I had to re-enter the dream and find out: why am I attacking myself?

I re-entered the dream where it felt safe for me.

in the girl’s dark appartment of broken dolls, as she sits against the wall, exhausted, shaking.

I witness her fear, the rage at the surface. I find a doll that isn’t broken. I dress the doll in white. I hand it to her. I smile. I go into her kitchen and make her a hot chocolate. She attacks me again.

I face her. I put my hands on her shoulders. I sit her down with the hot chocolate, speak to her, ask her questions, listen. I stay. she is growing up fast. light enters her, and by now she’s wearing an outfit I loved as a kid.

I take her out into the streets. I bring her to a beautiful city garden adjacent to a school. by now we’re the same height, she has beautiful golden hair and is about 17 years old. what exists between us now is pure friendship in an older sister kinda way. I am her. We are  ready. Next, I invite her into my heart. She now lives there as a flame. Yes, there is a happy ending. That's the point of active reimagination. You can have your nightmare, and your cake too.

there is a universe of things to say about the symbols. the broken dolls, the fact that the fight is over when I have her locked in a heart-opening position, my favorite ex who handed me the key to the apartment where I first entered into the girl’s world. “You should go see this ‘box apartment,’” he’d said.`

a destroyed home symbolizes the ego breaking down to allow for something deeper. it is said that the ego will defend itself with all its might. hence, the girl attacked me. she was strong. something in me was afraid to die.

my instinct to nurture the girl – nurture is the sun beyond the shadow of violence -- shows me how

beautifully the soul runs the show. thanks to this nightmare, i experienced my capacity to face what is not pretty, the victory of the soul over the personality.

if you want to live the life that’s meant for you — holy and wild — you cannot reject any part of yourself. you must embrace all of you. you must remember your innocence. The good news is that your higher self has already embraced all of you. And each time Pluto does a thing in the sky, he insists we work with our dreams and secrets, with what terrifies us, to birth our higher self.

a shadow can not be removed by chemicals, or by denial – it’s a deficiency. the shadow can be integrated by supplying light. being seen is the nourishment. the symptoms of the shadow disappear when the food called for is supplied. when we witness what terrifies us, it transforms.

YOUR DREAMS ARE THE GATEKEEPERS TO YOUR HIGHER SELF;

to be cared for in our darkness is a necessity. this is the work.
